Ventilation Systems Information

KCSD has upgraded many of its systems and is currently meeting or exceeding all regulatory requirements across all district buildings. This includes regular inspections of all HVAC units and quarterly filter replacements, with a minimum of MERV 10 filters used district wide. Glenmerry Elementary, as a newly constructed building, is equipped with MERV 13 filters. All portable classrooms are equipped with heat recovery ventilators (HRVs), and the majority of district buildings are controlled by Direct Digital Controls (DDC).
